Hydrocortisone topical (for the skin) is a steroid that is used to treat inflammation and itching caused by skin conditions that respond to steroid medication.

Hydrocortisone Cream is an effective treatment for relieving itchy skin types such as eczema or dermatitis etc. Hydrocortisone can be used on the skin once or twice a day. It is not recommended for continuous use for more than 7 days unless prescribed by your G.P.
